Biggest Hurdle

In the later stages of the project, Curriculum was requested to be added to the product before launch. Curriculum is a resource tool for educators that offers premade lesson plans filled with activities ready to download and share with students. It also allows educators to edit and customize the premade activities.

The biggest challenge with this feature was that it was introduced late into the project and the workflow wasn't fully fleshed out. Trying to integrate the feature while simultaneously changing the design requirements caused a lot of back and forth with design and development.

The solution we used to integrate this feature into the product was to limit it to subscriptions only and require the users to download all of the units from a lesson plan (instead of individual activities or units).
