Validated Designs

During the early stages of design, I worked in two-week increments where I would design a portion of the application then take it out for user feedback. This entailed in-person usability studies with a clickable prototype from Adobe Xd. The feedback was used to validate the designs or highlight areas that needed to be revisited.

To gather feedback, each usability study would involve a prototype and a series of tasks for the user to complete. There would be a moderator and at least one note-taker. The tasks would be rated by our metrics of success. In order for a design to pass, the average on our metrics of success scale would have to be 70% or greater for each task.
